Short weekend trip

Comfortable, quiet and clean. Really nice, well organized breakfast and nice evening meal Bad: Nothing, just a shame the swimming pool hadn’t been filled when we were there.

A good rest after a long week.

After almost a week at Disneyland a fitting bed at last. We had dinner there which was excellent and the waiter, Marvin, earns 5 stars for his excellent and friendly work with a nice chat. We ate at terrace outside and with a good beer in hand live was good. Bad: as expected, the hotel is next to an Autobahn Raststätte, there was some noise from outside (with an open window). That´s really cherry picking though.

The facilities were excellent and the staff catered for all our needs. Comfortable beds with an excellent bathroom and shower. Breakfast was brilliant with the staff consistently topping up. Will call here again. Bad: Nothing

Great and handy overnighter

Just used for a quick overnight stop. Breakfast seemed expensive for us so we used he McDonalds a few metres away. Great location for the autobahn and France. Bad: Smoking by the front door. Smelly people.

Welcome relief after a long day of travel & business

This Mercure is situated out of town, in a quiet area (even though its close to the freeway) and you are sure to get a good nights rest here. Rooms are comfortable, clean and should come as no surprise to a frequent Accor Hotel business traveller. Hot breakfast welcomes you with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages as well as the usual fare of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, bread etc Hotel staff are friendly, of course even more if you try to speak German (naturally) and are happy to ensure your stay is pleasant an accommodating as possible. I stayed here 2 nights on business and will definitely choose it again when I go back to Saarbrücken.

WE loved everything about this hotel. We only wished that we could have spent one more night. The triple room was perfect for our needs and spotlessly clean and comfortable.

The cleanness

Wanna go back

This Hotel is right in the middle of where you want to be while Saarbruken. Shops, eateries, and transportation, are all just outside the door. I was there for the Christmas season, and the Christmas market had plenty more places to meet and hangout. The Mercure is in the newer part of the city. Having been bombed during the war, this area has been modernized for today's traveler. I really enjoyed the breakfast offered by the Hotel. Plenty of selections for every pallet.

Very good value for money

Kindness, cleanness, easy to find from highway Bad: Shower was not working great

A good stopover option if you're driving

Friendly people. Relatively easy access to the highway avoiding traffic in the city. Free parking. Bad: The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere. This was ok for us as we were by car but keep that in mind. The room was very cold when we arrived. The heating is manual so you have to turn the radiator on and wait for a while.

Very clean and quiet. Good value for money Bad: No shuttle service to Saarbrücken city centre. It’s not easy to get to city centre.

Location was good. Big private parking Bad: Bed was comfortable but pillow inners felt like a bag of stones. You could smell unpleasant smell of urine on children's bedding - our little one slept with us in the end. They charge €2.50 for a bottle of mineral water provided in the room, which is something I've never experienced before.

Good overnight stop

We had overnight stops at the Saabruken Mercure on our way to / from Austria and we were pleased with the reception, rooms and the restaurant food / service - much better than average for an overnight stop

Very close to the city center of Saarbrucken Germany. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Quite area of town. They people working there were very helpful and curtious. Rooms were large with very comfortable beings and amenities. It's a place to return to whenever we are in town.

Good overnight stop

Stayed one night with a group en-route from Austria to UK. Been here before when it was under the Novotel brand. Hotel has been given a facelift, was welcoming and clean. Dinner on arrival was buffet, all good and hot. Breakfast also buffet and again, well presented and tasty. God selection of wine.
